KUALA LUMPUR: Mah Sing Group Bhd has commenced works on four towers C, D, E and F of its Lakeville Residence project in Taman Wahyu, Kepong. Construction for Tower A and Tower B had started in 2014.
In a statement yesterday, the property developer said the project, which has an estimated gross development value of RM1.5bil is expected to be completed by end-2018.
Mah Sing has appointed China State Construction Engineering Corp Ltd as the contractor for the project.
Recently launched was Lakeville Residence Tower D, while Tower C is scheduled for launch by the first half of 2016.
The serviced apartment offers units with built-up ranging from 978 sq ft to 1,365 sq ft, while the lifestyle shops fronting Jalan Sibu feature built-ups starting from 4,651 sq ft.
Further to Lakeville Residence, China Construction has also been appointed to undertake the construction works for Mah Sing’s The Meridin@Medini, located in Iskandar Malaysia, Johor Baru.
Mah Sing chief executive officer Ng Chai Yong said the recently approved MRT Line 2 alignment located in close proximity to Lakeville Residence is also an added-value to the future residents at Lakeville Residence.
“There is also a proposed shuttle bus service from Lakeville Residence to the MRT station for the residents’ convenience. With the upcoming infrastructure, we believe that the transit oriented development concept is efficient to optimise land use. Better connectivity will also definitely result in property appreciation,” he said.
